Tour #1 - The Classic Jaipur Tour
- pick up from hotel
- visit Amer Fort
- spend some time in Elephant Village
- stop for photos of the Water Palace
- lunch (at the location of your choice, cost not included)
- see the Monkey Temple
- drop-off at hotel
(takes around 5-8 hours, although there is no time limit if you wish to spend longer at each place)
- 1000 INR for tour (entry to Amer Fort or cost of lunch not included. Entry costs for the Fort can be found at https://www.amberfort.org/)
Tour #2 - Jewellery Tour
Getting engaged soon? Jaipur is known as India's "gem capital", with a long history of supplying precious stones. The hub of the jewellery trade is the world-famous MI Road, although this tour takes you behind the scenes to those independent jewellers that supply these shops.
- pick up from hotel
- visit the boutiques on MI Road (such as JKJ, etc)
- lunch
- visit wholesale jewellers in the Bazaars, where you can watch jewellery being made and arrange for a custom jewellery (hint: this is the cheapest way to buy precious stones in India)
- includes return to any shop the following day to collect your item (should you need it)
(takes all day for most shoppers!)
- 1000 INR (cost of lunch not included)
